Favourite Game Characters

We all know names like Mario, Link, and Sonic among other giant titles, but do you have any personal favourite character?


Solid Snake has to be among one of the greatest characters in recent video game history. Sure, his first appearance was 20 years ago in Metal Gear, but we learned much more about him only 10 years ago in Metal Gear Solid 1. He's a tragic hero practically, fighting all his life to eventually age prematurely and die early, among other things that happen to him - like the loss of loved ones.

I have more favourites, but I want to hear yours!

I have'nt played a game where there is a main character in so many years........and then it was mario, sonic and that vampire from castlevania lol
Even in final fantasy online you created your own characters.........they had no history other then what you could make for them or role played them. So does our own creations count? lol

What can I say, I just loved this game...it wasn't just a kill em/shoot em game...it built on the relationships between the characters. The ending was wicked, too!

LOVED X and X-2. The end of X always makes me cry, damnit.... I don't care, it just does.
