Thank you, Waffles - I'll do just that. I've been very busy lately going back and forth to the doctor's and haven't been able to be around here much. I will write to you this week and thanks again!

Thank you Waffles for responding and you too, Tweety!! I would love to share with you and could use some good advice - especially now when I have a another (I've had MANY) potential surgery coming up. BUT, there is zero privacy here and I'm reluctant to put it all out there for the world to see, ya know what I mean? I will say that a majority of the surgeries I've had are spinal in nature and unfortunately, no reversing that problem. I would love to share more with you - are you registered in the forum where I could perhaps send you a message? (I will send you one too, Tweety if you're interested). I would appreciate any help and advice I can get.

Thanks again!!

Ro, can you be more specific so that I can help you? I am no expert but I am somewhat in the know since I have known others with issues.

I don't have any health issues and I am 48.....knock on wood......I do have a weight problem though and it is my fault since I eat ice-cream sitting in front of the TV. I now do the bike every morning and crunches and weights every other day.

I sure don't need big abs nor a big trunk. LOL

I'm so glad I joined this group! I have several medical issues and what is most important to me is how to get back my health after having so many surgeries, virtually all in a row. I'm about to have a couple of more and I seem to be getting worse with each one. It has really taken a toll on my body - mentally and physically. Any tips? TIA!

But I'm not even awake to have breakfast most of the time, hahaha.

I don't eat late at night really. Maybe fruit, or the cereal, if I am hungry.

I always break sweat at the gym. Not dripping and overly wet, but I do sweat, trust me hah.

I don't eat Breakfest, I wake up at 12:00 PM and then go to school hah.

Problem with meals is that, again, I'm a picky eater, so I don't eat the healthiest things. I don't eat much beyond the two meals (Dinner is usually beyond 7 P.M for me though).

I didn't really change my diet, just for the last year or two or I don't know how long really, I've been generally eating less - I eat lunch when I come home from school, and a small dinner later and maybe cereal (Special K usually) if I'm hungry later. I admit, I don't eat the healthiest things now but I'm a very picky eater.

My workout... I go to the gym for about 40 minutes of non-stop working out - 20 minutes on the treadmill (Steady walking for 18 minutes and then a burst of 2 minuting running (Gonna be editing it to have more running bursts soon)) and then I do a few reps of 12 on three machines and leave. I'd spend more time there but one of my parents drives me each time and I don't want to make them wait for so long outside bored (Can't drive a stick shift yet).

I have a question.

I've been working out since February and haven't noticed any improvments really. I don't know if it's because I haven't been working out enough (Non-stop 40 minutes 3 times a week), or my diet just plain sucks, or both. Any tips? Like to get healthier heh.

I found that if I drink to much coffee, which sometimes I tend to do, it's almost like taking an amphetamine. My hands shake, my mind races, heart pounds and I feel like I am ready to jump out of my skin and can't sleep no matter how tired I am. For some reason coffee is the only one that has that effect on me. Soda, tea or any other type of drink with caffeine doesn't seem to have that effect on me. It seems to affect me much more when I drink it on a empty stomach, which I usually do in the mornings as I rarely eat breakfast. Is it bad for you? Research says to much of anything is.
